3. "THE ORDINANCES" means and includes Companies Ordinance, 1865, and any and every other Ordinance, from time to time in force concerning Trading or other Public Companies and necessarily affecting the Company.
4. "THESE PRESENTS" means and includes the Regulations of the Company from time to time in force.
5. "CAPITAL" means the Capital from time to time of the Company.
6. "SHARES" means the Shares from time to time of the Company.
7. "SHAREHOLDERS" means the duly registered holders from time to time of the Shares of the Company.
8. "THE BOARD" means the Directors for the time being of the Company, or any Three of them, assembled at a Board Meeting.
9. "THE SECRETARY" means the person for the time being performing the duties of Secretary, or having the management of the business details of the Company under the immediate control of the Directors.
10. "DOLLARS" means Dollars legally current in Hongkong.
11. "ORDINARY MEETING" means an Ordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of the Company duly called and constituted, and any adjourned holding thereof.
12. "EXTRAORDINARY MEETING" means an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of the Company duly called and constituted, as hereinafter provided, and any adjourned holding thereof.
13. "MEETING" means an Ordinary or Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders.
14. "OFFICE" means the Registered Office from time to time of the Company.
15. "SEAL" means the Common Seal from time to time of the Company.
16. "MONTH" means a Calendar Month.
17. "THE RESERVE FUND" means the Reserve Fund of the Company.
18. "SHIPS and VESSELS" means Vessels of any size, whether Hulks, Receiving ships or Lighters and Vessels propelled by Sails or Steam, either for River or Ocean Navigation, and includes Boats.
19. "PERSON" includes a Public Company or Corporation.
20. "SHAREHOLDER" and "MEMBER" include any Public Company, Corporation holding shares in the Company.
21. Words importing the Masculine Gender only include the Feminine Gender.
22. Words importing the Plural Number only include the Singular Number.
23. Words importing the Singular Number only include the Plural Number.
II. Constitution.
24. THE FOLLOWING shall be the regulations of the Company, but subject to repeal and alteration, as provided by the Ordinances.
